A principal in your firm who has the role of Trust Account Supervisor must ensure that the firms trust account is administered in accordance with the requirements of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act (Trust Account) Regulations 2008, and, inter alia, to furnish monthly and quarterly certificates as required by Reg. 17.
The role of Legal Accounting Bureau Limited (L.A.B.) is to enter information received from you into our data base and to generate and return to you all the reports you require to enable you to carry out your role as Trust Account Supervisor. Your are responsible for the accuracy of the information supplied to L.A.B. for processing.
